I think ...

... I might paint this next for some strange reason. it's been my screen saver for a while and I still find it intriguing. it's jane fonda and her first husband roger vadim who made her into Barbarella and tried to get her interested in threesomes. ooo la la. she almost looks feral in this photo ... gushing with youth and good hair and sexy as all get out. I like what they're doing, how they are posed, the watchful dog, Malibu sometime in the mid 60s, her serape, the tiles and lush background. so. maybe. we'll see.  will keep us posted. hap Saturday.

Farm aid live tonight. Dave Matthews honestly slays, super-cedes, triumphs, transcends. Mellencamp. Dylan even plays his harp. Quite the nite. Wonder if Bobby   had a say bout how they filmed him. He’s the most important deserved to be revered living American artist. Right? He performs a very beautiful, slow ballady don’t think twice. Think he wanted to do a very non political song but maybe he doesn’t think it’s non political. I'v known him for 60 years.   He looks like a white crow tonight.  Do you think Willie's beautiful little girl pig tails are real?

A Big One ...

.... gone today.  died in his sleep. nice. his name is an adjective. glamour, richness, adventure, rightness, fun, buzz. everyone has a favorite of his. everyone remembers sitting in a movie seat taking in his 20th century fecundity. thru all our lives. my favorite move of his is in Barefoot in the Park - Fonda says don't touch me during a stupid argument and he does his MGM Cary G double gorgeous take - like he can't believe what he's hearing - and he pokes her in the ribs - maybe more than once - I'll have to check. wonder if he made that up himself. nice to think so. he was there when I first noticed movies, when they became a big part of my later young life big time and for a very very long time after. american man in all his modern glory, fixed in time now. another time. better time. word and fact.

but what if I don't wanna
