Horn of plenty … a goat's horn filled with grain and flowers and fruit symbolizing prosperity. I came across the phrase tonight in a book I'm reading and I flashed on a restaurant by that name on Bleecker Street when I first moved to the city in 70s.  We could never afford to eat there but they had a dessert room. Once in a while we’d go there late at night, very stoned and eat two dollar pieces of very delicious cake.
